Please join the St. Andrew’s Racial Justice and Reconciliation Ministry for a discussion on the film 13th on Wednesday, December 13 at 5:30 p.m. in the parish hall.
13th is a 2016 American documentary by director Ava DuVernay. The film explores the “intersection of race, justice and mass incarceration in the United States States;“ it is titled after the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, which freed the slaves and prohibited slavery (unless as punishment for a crime).
The St. Andrew’s Racial Justice and Reconciliation Ministry is open to all and meets on a regular basis, and works to dismantle racism through education, storytelling, transformation and healing. For more information, please contact Joe Stultz or Joe Graves.
