From wreaths and table arrangements to stained glass creations to handmade treasures of all kinds, you can find something for everyone on your list! Snacks, lunch, and holiday activities are also available.

Bring a Friend to Our Advent Service of Lessons & Carols

December 14, 10 a.m.

Through our experience of sacred Word and music, the story of mankind’s longing for liberation from sin and death, and our hope and expectation for the coming of Christ the Lord, unfolds and deepens our understanding of God’s message of love and redemption. A harpist and violinist will accompany our carol service this year. May the words and music of this service draw you toward the true joy of Christmas.

Supporting St. Andrew’s

Walk in Love: Our Giving Pledge Campaign for 2026

Visit Our Stewardship Page for 2026
Submit a Pledge Online for 2026

Therefore, be imitators of God, as beloved children, and walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself for us, an offering and sacrifice to God.   Ephesians 5:1–2

This year’s stewardship theme, Walk in Love, invites us to reflect on our generosity as a journey. Our life together thrives because of your faithful support of St. Andrew’s. As you prayerfully consider your pledge this year, know that every gift is appreciated. Each gift matters. May we give generously and joyfully so that St. Andrew’s continues to grow in Christ’s love and compassion.

The Corner Farmers Market

Saturdays, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Corner of W. Market St. & Kensington Rd.

Worldwide, outdoor markets have flourished during the pandemic. That has certainly been the case here in Greensboro. Since moving to our parking lot, the Corner Market has welcomed new vendors and customers. The relocation could not have gone better, and the market is providing a connection point that’s open to everyone in our community, a connection that is so vital for many of us during this time—and all the time. Follow the Market’s Facebook page, or subscribe to the newsletter on their website for the weekly list of vendors.

One Step Further Food Pantry

This One Step Further Food Pantry, which started at St. Andrew’s, is now housed at Definition Church in Greensboro (1806 Merritt Dr., in the building behind the main building) and St. Stephen AME Zion Church in High Point (1012 Leonard Ave.). The pantry needs volunteers for a variety of tasks including deliveries and making phone calls (which can be done from home). If you can help, please email the director, Susan Cox

Food donations are collected at St. Andrew’s through our Burgundy Bag ministry and distributed weekly to the pantry. Most needed food items include: rice, pasta, beans (dried and canned), canned vegetables, and canned meats and fish. For more information about our collection at St. Andrew’s, contact Doug Sanecki.
