Children’s Ministry Time
Sunday mornings are an important part of our children’s fellowship. Children aged Pre-K through 5th grade are welcome to join us for children’s formation during the 10 a.m. service each Sunday. Early in the service, the celebrant will invite children (and parents who wish to attend) to the chancel for a send-off. Accompanied by their adult guides, the children will walk to their activity space (currently outside on the playground). Children’s ministry time concludes around the time of the Peace during the service, at which time the adult guides will accompany children back to the church to join their families and the larger church community in the. celebration of the Eucharist. Children are always welcome to worship with their families as a part of the main service as well.
A staffed nursery is available for children from 0-3 years of age, with developmentally appropriate toys, coloring activities, and creative play centers. Parents can bring children to the nursery before or during the 10 a.m. service and are welcome to pick up their children in time for them to rejoin our community to celebrate the Eucharist.
